About Myakka River Trail Rides

Myakka River Trail Rides is a private horseback riding facility in Myakka City, Florida, ideal for individuals, families and groups seeking a fun and adventurous outing. From the urbanized beginners to the experienced cowboys, we have the horses, trails, and staff to ensure that you have a safe and memorable experience while you are “INCREASING YOUR HORSEPOWER!”

Experience our version of the “Old West” as you take the reins of your very own steed through 40-plus acres of picturesque fields. We also breed and promote one of the world’s rarest horses, the Akhal-Teke, which originated in the Karakum Desert, part of ancient Persia, over three thousand years ago. Our horse guides have years of experience training horses and working with riders. We offer lessons, trail riding, birthday parties and affordable boarding.

Meet

Dasha & Attila

Dasha Cole is a co-owner and instructor at Myakka River Trail Rides. A seasoned horsewoman, Dasha previously rode and performed with the world-renowned Herrmann’s Royal Lipizzaner Stallions. In addition to her work at the ranch, she is also a real estate broker on the Suncoast, but her true passion lies in teaching others to ride and connect with horses.

Dedicated to the preservation of the rare Akhal-Teke breed, Dasha is equally committed to giving unwanted rescue horses a second chance. She specializes in the rehabilitation and re-training of these horses, transforming them into safe, reliable trail partners so riders of all ages can experience the beauty and magic of the equine world.

Attila is a co-owner and instructor at Myakka River Trail Rides, best known for leading our ATV Farm Tours with expert skill and enthusiasm. Originally from Hungary, Attila grew up with a love for the outdoors and adventure that still guides his work today. With years of experience teaching both children and adults, he is admired for his patience, knowledge, and calm leadership on the trails.

Proud of his heritage, Attila is an active participant in Hungarian cultural festivals and traditions. He also raises Mangalitsa pigs—the last remaining breed of curly-haired pigs in the world—reflecting his deep commitment to preserving rare and historic animals.
